Apple TV+ 'Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock' Debuts Jan. 21

Apple TV+ has released the first official trailer for "Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock," its highly anticipated reboot of the classic series.

The series will see the Jim Henson-created Fraggles "kick off the new year by embarking on epic, hilarious adventures about the magic that happens when we celebrate and care for our interconnected world."

In addition to new characters voiced by Patti LaBelle, Cynthia Erivo, Daveed Diggs, Ed Helms, and Kenan Thompson, the reboot will also feature an appearance by rock band Foo Fighters.

The "Fraggle Rock" reboot will join Apple's existing slate of Fraggle originals, which includes a collection of shorts dubbed "Fraggle Rock: Rock On!"

The series is executive produced by Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford of The Jim Henson Company, as well as John Tartaglia. Showrunners Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson also executive produce alongside Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer. Dave Goelz and Karen Prell serve as co-executive producer, while Harvey Mason Jr serves as executive music producer and Ritamarie Peruggi serves as producer.

Alongside "Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock" and the "Fraggle Rock" shorts, Apple's partnership with The Jim Henson Company also includes other originals like "Harriet The Spy."

All 13 episodes of "Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock" will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, Jan. 21.
