Process
Step 1 Enter the device into KDFU mode. You can add repo: http://repo.tihmstar.net, then install kDFUApp, check here for details. But this method does not support all the compatible devices or iOS 10+. For the rest incompatible devices, you can refer another tutorial to enter kdfu mode: How to Enter KDFU Mode Using Futurerestore? After that, the screen will turn to black and 3uTools will detect the device in DFU mode.
Step 2 Head to “Flash & JB” -> “Pro Flash”, then click “Import Firmware” to import the downloaded custom firmware.
Step 3 Click “Flash” on the right side, there will be the pop up telling you there are risks to flash a custom firmware. Just click “Flash Anyway” to start the process.
Step 4 Then 3uTools will automatically downgrade your device to iOS 8.4.1, please wait patiently and keep the good connection.
