If not, you may delete Cydia by careless.
How to Restore Cydia?
It is not easy for most of iOS users to restore Cydia, this tutorial is mainly introducing three methods for you to restore Cydia.
First of all, you need to download some necessary installation packages or dependent files. Search “http://cydiaupdates.net” on PC and install an official installation package “http://cydiaupdates.net/pkg/mobilesubstrate”.
Warm prompt: you need to install AFC2 on iDevice after jailbreaking.
Method one: Automatic installation path
You need to import Cydia’s automatic installation path to “/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall” using 3uTools, and then please restart your iPhone for several times, this deb file will be installed automatically. If the file in this directory is gone that means you’ve successfully installed it.
Method two: Install it Via iFile or Filza
iFile or Filza integrated some dpkg commands, so it is convenient for iOS users to install deb files via iFile. You can directly open iDevice’s deb files using iFile or Filza, or you can copy and paste deb files to any directory of your iDevice (You’d better put it under “/var/mobile/Document”). And then open it and select Install. At this moment, it will show you an installation process page, if the returned value is 0, that means you’ve successfully installed it.
Note: You’re suggested to change the root password after installation.
Method three: Install it via MobileTerminal or OpenSSH.
You need to put deb files into “/var/mobile/Document” using 3uTools, enter code “su” -> enter “#cd/var/mobile/Documents” or other directories -> continue to enter “#dpkg-icydia_1.1.17.deb”, now you’re able to install this plugin.
For instance, if you want to restore Cydia, you need to put Cydia’s installation package “cydia_1.1.17.deb” into “/var/mobile/Documents”, and then enter “#cd/var/mobile/Documents” in Terminal, continue to enter “dpkg-i cydia_1.1.17.deb”, it will show you the process page.
