We often see users asking questions about their problems, a lot of them due to incompatibility with tweaks, or bugs with tweaks. Most people already know about this, but for the new people I’ll be showing you guys how to disable tweaks with iCleaner Pro.
This is usually used for the try and check process in order to determine which tweak is causing a problem.
The way this is done is usually by disabling all tweaks except for Mobile Safety/Subtrate Safe Mode and then enabling them one by one and seeing if the problem starts happening again.
Another way to determine which tweak is causing a problem is by disabling tweaks one by one and seeing when the problem stops, when it stops, the tweak you disabled is the one causing the problem. This method works 99% of the time and it’s the most reliable method to find out what’s causing a problem.
Before you begin, make sure you have iCleaner Pro and not just iCleaner. Download iCleaner Pro from this repo. The regular iCleaner doesn’t have the functionality to disable tweaks.
Open iCleaner Pro and tap on the + icon in the bottom left corner
Then tap on “Cydia Subtrate Addons” and you will see a list of all tweaks with on/off toggles next to them
At this point you can disable/enable any tweak you want as long as you don’t disable Subtrate Safe Mode/Mobile Safety you’ll be good
When you’re done enabling/disabling press Apply in the top right corner
Tap yes when it asks to respring
Please keep in mind:
When disabling stuff, a tweak you disable might be a dependency of other tweaks you have.
Make sure you trun on a tweak casuing issues and then uninstall it from Cydia, if you uninstalll it while its disabled it could possibly not fully uninstall and cause issues later on.
