Someone requested the new Apple Event logo as the Respring icon and a developer has already released it on Cydia. Here’s how you can download and activate it.
What is iEvents?
iEvents is a respring icon based on the logo of Apple Event 2017. It is developed by German developer Aeneon. Here’s how it looks like in action.
You can apply and enable it using Anemone. Once you do so, the stock iOS respring logo will get replaced by this one.
This is another “just because we can” thing because it actually serves no purpose other than enhancing your setup. Here’s a step by step tutorial on how to install and activate it.
How to use iEvents on your iDevice?
Step 1 Add this source to Cydia – repo.avalon-studios.de
Step 2 Download and install the iEvents theme from this repository.
Step 3 Open Anemone theming engine. If you don’t have it, install it first as it’s essential for applying the theme.
Step 4 iEvents should now show up inside Anemone. Now, tap Edit and move it to the top.
Step 5 Now tap Enable to enable this icon. Once it gets enabled, tap Preview then Apply.
That’s all there’s to it! Enjoy your new respring logo and get all pumped up for the upcoming Apple Event on September 12.
You can now use its latest update on iPhone 7 plus and iPad models. Remember, if it doesn’t work, it’s probably not your fault. It’s a new package and the developer will certainly push new updates in the future.
