Expect a big second half to 2017 from Apple AAPL -0.45%, and at both ends of your budget… A new pair of leaks have revealed our best look yet at the redesigned iPhone 8 (also referred to as the iPhone 7S, iPhone X and even just iPhone) as well as a second surprise: an all new iPhone SE.

Providing new information about the former is ever reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka Onleaks, who has revealed detailed renders of the iPhone 8 which he developed in partnership with MySmartPrice:

Hemmerstoffer states the renders come from factory CAD drawings he has attained and are in line with other leaks we have seen showing a drastically reduced top and bottom bezel, glass backed chassis, the removal of the home button and a vertically aligned dual rear camera.

The renders also show no rear fingerprint sensor, further building on growing consensus that Apple will persist in integrated the sensor directly into the front display - even if it means a significant release date delay.

Following this up is leaks which claims to have the first pre-production photos of an all new iPhone SE. The images allegedly show the backs of a phone which could be called the iPhone SE 2 or iPhone SE Series 2 (like Apple Watch naming convention) and a design more in line with the curves of the iPhone 7 - including the single rear camera.

At this stage it is impossible to verify the /leak images, but it does fit the timeline laid out for KGI Securities’ famously accurate analysis Ming Chi-Kuo who said late last year that Apple would delay the launch of a second generation iPhone SE until the second half of 2017. To keep the 14 month old device competitive in the meantime, Apple doubled its storage a few months ago.

So, with an incrementally upgraded iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus also expected to launch alongside the iPhone 8, it looks like Apple could have four new iPhones scheduled for the second half of 2017. With a massive new Google Pixel also planned we're in for one heck of a ride...
