According to the mobile telecommunication industrial data in South Korea, the market of high-end and mid-end smartphones have been majorly shared by the foreign brands in the countries, and the domestic mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung and LG can only hold the low-end phones area. The particular data indicated that Apple’s iPhone 6s 64GB maintained the top position with the market share at 28.2%; iPhone 6s 16GB was ranked No.2;Galaxy Note 5 64GB was ranked No.3 with the market share at 13.8%; iPhone 6s plus 64GB was ranked No.4. However, the iPhones series have gained more than 50% of the total market share.

In addition, Nexus 6P 32GB had the market share of 34.6% in the mid- and low-end smartphone market. J5 is 18.5%, and Glaxy Grand Max is 15.8%. That's to say, LG class and Brand play were ranked No.4 and No.5 respectively.

Samsung with its total market capitalization was ranked No. 13 in the global information communication technology corporations, and this was the first time that the company dropped out of the top ten, said an industry insider from the South Korean information telecommunication policy institution.
